In a strategic move ahead of the 2027 presidential election, Festus Keyamo, Nigeria's Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has unveiled a television campaign series aimed at showcasing the successes of President Bola Tinubu's administration in the aviation sector. This campaign, known as the 'Tinubu Aviation Revolution Series,' represents one of the first major initiatives by Keyamo since his appointment as Director of the Directorate of Air Transport Mobilisation within the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.

According to a statement released by Tunde Moshood, Special Adviser on Media and Communications to Keyamo, the Directorate is tasked with overseeing and facilitating air transportation for authorized campaign activities in support of Tinubu's re-election. The launch of this campaign material comes as Keyamo seeks to galvanize public support and highlight the administration's achievements to a wider audience.

The 30-second television advertisements are set to premiere on November 1, 2026, and will air on major television stations throughout the country leading up to the elections. The campaign aims to deliver a clear, engaging narrative of the transformative changes that have occurred in Nigeria's aviation sector under Tinubu's leadership.

“The campaign material, which has been fully paid for, is scripted to present a concise, compelling, and accessible account of the aviation sector's transformation,” Moshood stated.

As Nigeria moves closer to the 2027 elections, this initiative underscores the importance of effective communication in political campaigning, particularly in highlighting the tangible benefits of governance in key sectors such as aviation. Keyamo's proactive approach signals a commitment to leveraging media to influence public perception and rally support for the Tinubu administration.
